About the Event
Conquering becomes habit for some individuals and relentless working for the same becomes their rituals. “The Unassailable” has been deliberated for providing the platform to these budding professionals of PG (MBA/PGPM) & UG. The platform also provides the opportunity to the students to prove their mettle in structured way. This may also enable the students to rectify their own mistakes with canvass of management fundamentals. Diversified participants across India will aid the students in understanding the various companies and management issues of the relevance.

We are organizing “The Unassailable”, at our campus on 20th March, 2012. We are inviting more than 1000 different colleges to participate in the competition. The participants from various disciplines like MBA, PGPM, BBA, BCA, B.Sc., and B.Com. B.Pharm. B.E. etc. will contest in various competitions. Experts from Academics and Corporate will evaluate the participants.

·   UG - Only final year students can participate

·   Cash prizes of more than Rs. 1,00,000 to be won
·   Trophies to the winners, special certificate of appreciation and certificate of participation
·   Consolation cash prize of Rs. 200 to top 50 summer projects & top 20 idea/concept/product development.

Abraham Koshy is Professor of Marketing at Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He is a reputed teacher, researcher, consultant and corporate trainer. His expertise is in areas such as strategic marketing, new product strategy, and brand management. He has held several distinguished academic administrative responsibilities in IIMA including Chairperson of the prestigious Post Graduate Program. He is a co-author of the best-selling book Marketing Management: A South Asian Perspective along with the legendary Marketing guru Prof. Philip Kotler and others. In addition, he is a co-author of Growth and Transformations of Small Firms in India and a co-editor of Managing Alternatives and Marketing of Information Products and Services. Besides, he has published several research papers and case studies in reputed journals. He has conducted executive programs for a large number of national and international companies in India and 13 other countries. He is Director in the Board of Directors of The Federal Bank, a leading private sector commercial bank in India, and Malayala Manorama, one of the largest and most respected publishing companies in India. Besides, he is a member in advisory committees constituted by government organizations and industry associations. Recently he has been nominated as a member of the Advisory Committee for Investor Protection and Education Fund of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI). He is also a Visiting Professor at the European School of Management in Paris and Glasgow University, UK.




Before becoming a film director, Apoorva was an assistant director for Ashutosh Gowariker's period epic film Lagaan: Once Upon a Time in India. He had been an assistant for Hollywood films such as The Ice Storm, A Perfect Murder and Addicted to Love. He was educated at the Lawrence School, Sanawar. As Amir Khan was looking for someone with Hollywood experience for Lagaan, Farhan Akhtar recommended Apoorva who had worked with casts and crews in Hollywood. He made his debut as a film director with the 2002 film ‘Mumbai Se Aaya Mera Dost’ and has directed ‘Ek Ajnabee’ which starred Amitabh Bachchan in the leading role, ‘Shootout at Lokhandwala’, ‘Mission Istanbul’ starring Vivek Oberoi, Sunil Shetty, Shriya Saran and Zayed Khan.
